Experience:
Fernando undertook his architectural studies at UPV - Technical University of Valencia and UPM - Technical University of Madrid and qualified as an architect in 2014. He has gone on to gain invaluable design, construction and site experience through a variety of projects in both Spain and the UK.
After working at Squire & Partners, Fernando joined Formation Architects in 2016. Since then he has been an integral part of the Pre-Planning Team, working on a broad range of projects - from residential, office, hotels and master-planning - and of various different scales, such as a planning application for 724 new homes in Woolwich Central, 59 new homes on the Former Greenwich Police Station site, as well as other sites across London including 7 Cross Lane, Park House, Rotherhithe New Road...
His expertise lies primarily in the pre-planning stages for residential developments, with a focus on feasibility studies, planning applications, bids and competitions. He enjoys dealing with projects from an early design stage, ensuring that a strong concept design can ultimately be translated into a deliverable scheme.
Currently, Fernando’s work focuses on capacity studies and bids for new residential, hotel and office opportunities, working closely with developers and land agents of all sizes.
