Marco studied in Venice (Italy), Porto (Portugal) and Cambridge (UK), and practised as an architect in Italy before moving to the UK.

Since joining Formation Architects, Marco has worked on a great variety of projects, focussing mainly on residential buildings at concept design and planning stage. He has also taken a number of schemes from inception to completion both in the UK and abroad.

Marco is currently leading several projects through planning, including the new London headquarters of the National Children’s Bureau and a number of residential and mixed use developments both in London and throughout the South-East.

He enjoys dealing with projects from an early design stage, making sure that the concept design can ultimately be translated into feasible and beautiful buildings. He also has a keen interest in the implications of architectural representation in the planning process, which was the focus of his dissertation in Cambridge.
