He joined Formation Architects in 1991, following a merger with the Ley Colbeck Partnership, where Neil had been responsible for a variety of specialist areas of design and construction, including comprehensive commercial leisure developments, high rise city offices and prisons.

Since joining Formation Architects, major assignments have included a development of 134 new build luxury apartments in Kensington; a high rise development of 350 apartments overlooking the River Thames in Greenwich; master planning for 830 dwellings in Crawley, master planning for a number of mixed use developments in Romania and the creation of various high value dwellings in Central London.

Recent projects include the restoration of a Grade II* listed building in Park Lane to create a single family house; a luxury residential development at the Glebe in Chelsea; the residential conversion of the former power station at Lots Road and the delivery of a new hotel and cycle park in Cambridge.

Neil takes a key role in the commercial aspects of all projects and the overall performance and development of the practice.
