Forming the south western enclosure of the new Station Square in Cambridge, these two mixed use buildings will accommodate 89 residential units, 890 sqm (9,600 sqft) retail and 625 sqm (6,700 sqft) office space.
The design is a sensitive response to this highly prominent location.
Block I1 incorporates a two storey colonnade at ground floor which reflects the colonnaded grade II station building opposite.
Block K1 replaces the Silo building which was lost to fire in 2010. The design seeks to echo the Silo in terms of proportions and height to complement the adjacent historic Mill as a local landmark.
