We are now nearing completion of our project to refurbish and extend the Cliveden Hotel Spa, which will be formally opened this July. During the 1920s and 30s Cliveden was home to Nancy Astor, the first women MP in England, and it later became notorious for the parties around its outdoor pool, the setting that sparked the infamous Profumo affair in 1964.

Working alongside interior designer, Aymerick Chastenet de Gery, and the National Trust, the scope of the project included extending and refurbishing the existing spa pavilion, maintaining its classical style, as well as constructing a new glazed walkway to link the spa to the Clutton Wing of the main hotel. The indoor and outdoor spa facilities have been enlarged and upgraded to be commensurate with its status as a 5*hotel whilst maintaining the luxurious informality that makes Cliveden so special.
