Ba(Hons) MArch PGDip
Maddy studied her BA(Hons) and MArch at Brighton University where she developed her talent and passion for drawing and practical problem solving, an area she particularly thrives in.
She joined Formation Architects in 2013 as a Part II, with previous experience in architectural and interior design practices on high end residential and hotel projects; she began working on developer-led Connaught Place, a luxury development project for Redrow and Abbey Road. In 2014 she qualified as an Architect, it was at this time she was brought on to help manage the delivery of one our larger Super Prime new build residential development, The Glebe, in Chelsea. The scheme comprises of a 11.272 sqm site, with a Construction cost of £155m.
During the past 5 years on this project, Maddy’s role has grown, based mostly on site, she has thrived on the practical side of the role; being hands on with up to 53 contractors, constant problem solving, detailing changes and advising on the design intent of this highly-specified build. This autonomy has given her exposure and responsibility beyond her years, but she manages this effortlessly with a down-to-earth and practical attitude.
Maddy’s focus on the Glebe has been interior delivery of the new Villas working closely with the Jean Louis Deniot and his team in Paris. These Villas are especially tricky to ensure that the interiors co-ordinate with modern lines of the envelope.
She is currently running the construction and delivery of 7 St James and 13 Cadogan Square.
