This year the staff at Formation Architects have chosen to support The Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust. The Trust was established in memory of Stephen Lawrence, an aspiring architect, who was tragically killed in a racially motivated attack.
It was important for us to pick a charity that has a personal significance and aligns with our ethos and core values. The charity’s objective is to inspire and support young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, working to create a fairer society in which everyone can succeed. In parallel with our support for the Trust, this year we are looking forward to providing work placements for students from nearby schools and to engage with our local community in Lambeth, statistically one of the most deprived neighbourhoods in London.
On Sunday 10th March our three Musketeers, Chloe Hand, Ana Pesudo and Luis Perezabad will be running The Vitality Big Half 2019 – a half marathon through the streets of London, with the aim of raising £3,500 towards the Charity. It will be their first ever half marathon and they are enthusiastic to do their best!
We would really appreciate any help you can give towards us realising our target. The money the musketeers raise will help the charity to reach more young people with hope and opportunity, so please help us to fulfil this ambition!
