Ba(Hons) MArch PGDip
Edwin completed his Part II at Cardiff University (Welsh School of Architecture), and joined Formation Architects in 2011, he then qualified as an architect in 2015 at the University of Westminster. He has gone on to gain valuable design, construction and on site experience through a variety of projects.
His experience lands at all the project stages from feasibility studies, planning applications, construction packages to on site experience. His experience in the later project stages is reflected in Lots Road, the conversion of the existing Lots Road Power Station in Chelsea into residential led, mixed use scheme, where he led the new façade, basement and core packages.
Edwin has been taking several schemes through to planning, include a 180 unit residential led mixed use scheme in Maidstone; a heavily constrained site in Deptford where they are hoping to deliver 80 apartments and a new civic and community hub for the area including workspace for the creative industries, whilst retaining a locally listed pub; and the new Cambridge North Masterplan Masterplan consisting of 900+ residential units and one million sqft of office space. Currently, Edwin is leading the design and planning applications for both The Green Quarter in Southall for Berkeley Homes and Lower High Street in Watford.
Edwin also leads Formation Community, the CSR initiatives of the office, and is proud to have seen this side of the office expand greatly over the past few years, picking up numerous awards for their work in the process.
