Prior to joining Formation Architects, Ken worked with PLP Architecture on a variety of large scale and prestigious residential, commercial and mixed use projects in central London (Westferry, Lincoln Square, Chiltern Street, Whitechapel, Bond Street over-station). Ken has also worked on a number of UK and international projects with Foster and Partners (Reichstag, Commerzbank, Tower Place, British Museum, London Millennium Tower, SECC Glasgow), Woods Bagot (Odeon Leicester Square), Llewelyn Davies (Woolwich Arsenal), John McAslan (Stratford & Canning Town Jubilee line stations), Conran Design (Bibendum restaurant, Bond St shopping centre Leeds), Weston Williamson (London Bridge Jubilee line station) and Spence & Webster (Seville Expo pavilion).
Since joining Formation Architects Ken has worked on a number of projects at all stages from inception through to construction detail, working on Cambridge North concept design and masterplanning proposals as well as high-level design auditing input for various high profile central London construction projects. He is currently running phase 1 of The Brentford Waterside mixed use residential scheme for Ballymore.
With outstanding conceptual and interdisciplinary design skills, an in depth understanding of the challenges and constraints of building design from cityscape through to cladding detailing, as well as an innate understanding of structural and engineering challenges, Ken is able to provide focus to direct and progress projects with great alacrity.
