Experience:
Ken achieved his BA at the Mackintosh School of Architecture at the Glasgow School of Art before completing his Diploma at the Bartlett, UCL. He is a skilled lead design architect with over twenty years’ experience running major international projects within signature design practices at a wide variety of scales, both in the front end design concept, through to the technical delivery role.
Prior to joining Formation Architects, Ken worked with PLP Architecture on a variety of large scale and prestigious residential, commercial and mixed use projects in central London (Westferry, Lincoln Square, Chiltern Street, Whitechapel, Bond Street over-station). Ken has also worked on a number of UK and international projects with Foster and Partners (Reichstag, Commerzbank, Tower Place, British Museum, London Millennium Tower, SECC Glasgow), Woods Bagot (Odeon Leicester Square), Llewelyn Davies (Woolwich Arsenal), John McAslan (Stratford & Canning Town Jubilee line stations), Conran Design (Bibendum restaurant, Bond St shopping centre Leeds), Weston Williamson (London Bridge Jubilee line station) and Spence & Webster (Seville Expo pavilion).
