Experience:

Kornelia joined formation Architects in June 2021 as a senior architect with over 20 years of work experience in Germany, the US and the UK.

Kornelia graduated from the FH Lippe in Detmold, Germany with a degree as Diplom- Ingenieur in architecture in 2001. Prior to that she completed a 3-year apprenticeship as an architectural technologist in Germany.

After graduation Kornelia worked for several years in architectural practices in the US before joining KPF London in 2007 where she last held the position of associate principal.

During her 13 years at KPF, Kornelia has worked on a number of large-scale projects in London and international. Her main focus and interest are technical coordination and detailing. She has worked on all stages from planning to construction with the main experience on delivery stages for design and built as well as traditional contracted projects. Projects in London include shell and core office towers, high end residential complexes and towers as well as a student living tower and 2 hotels built within retained fabric.

At Formation Architects Kornelia currently works on the Oval project stage 4 where she is responsible for various interior packages.
