Experience:

After graduating from Westminster University (formerly The Polytechnic of Central London) over 30 years ago Roger has worked in various London practices. In 2001 Roger joined Cornish Architects (industrial park specialists) where he worked on various master planning, new build and strategic improvement projects for Brixton Estates (now Sergo plc) including Premier Park, Metropolitan Park and Great Western Industrial Park. Roger also designed and built a new industrial estate in Oxford for Albion Land plc. In 2004 Roger joined BUJ Architects where he spent 13 years working on a wide variety of projects including residential led mixed use, hotels, clubs and private houses.

As well as manging teams on large projects at both pre-planning & construction stages Roger has significant practical construction experience having been a site based architect on several jobs including a Grade II listed building in Highgate and a new head office building for ACAS. Recent experience includes managing technical & design coordination for the redevelopment of a 3.2 ha site in Hackney Wick, project architect and team management for large mixed use residential developments in Poplar, Deptford Bridge, Shoreditch and Gosport.

Since joining Formation Architects Roger has worked on the delivery of a 174 unit residential scheme in Harringay and provided technical advice at planning stage for a 845 unit residential led mixed use scheme in Woolwich and for a 217 bed hotel scheme in Cambridge.
