Experience
Simon has gained over thirty-five years’ experience in private practice, working on new build and refurbishment projects including the restoration of listed buildings. In the past he has worked on a variety of office projects including a new build office at 60 Gracechurch Street and refurbishment schemes in Berkeley Square, Carlton House Terrace, Golden Square, St Andrew Street in London and a large façade retention mixed-use scheme at Lion Plaza in the City of London.
In the last fifteen years he has been involved with high quality residential refurbishment projects such as 100 Park Lane, Dropmore House, 32 Chapel Street, Cliveden House Hotel Spa, 19 Wilton Crescent, working closely with Interior Designers co-ordinating specialist finishes with structural and mechanical and electrical elements. Simon draws on his considerable project & site experience, knowledge and understanding of building construction with both modern and traditional techniques. He also has working knowledge of many procurement methods, contract types and undertaking Contract Administration.
On 100 Park Lane he was a pioneering figure involved in the design of bespoke special grilles and testing them at the BRE which were developed particularly for this project. He now has a working knowledge and skill in the integration of special grilles coordination for the use in high-end residential projects, whether modern or traditional in style.
In recent years he has become involved in several projects simultaneously providing his technical expertise, knowledge, and experience in a crucial role. He is currently involved in with projects at 100 Park Lane, Holland Park Villas – Penthouse, 35 Belgrave Square and 7 St. James’s Square.
