Experience:
Simon received his Bachelor of Architecture with honours at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art in 1998 and his RIBA Part III at the University of Westminster in 2000. He is registered with the Architects Registration Board UK, a chartered member of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) and a friend of The Theatres Trust.
Simon has over 20 years of experience in Architecture. He is a versatile Design Team Leader running architectural projects to high professional standards from design through to construction. He has gained a variety of knowledge working across London in the Academic, Commercial, Health, Residential and Theatrical sectors on schemes ranging in value and complexity.
Before joining Formation Architects, Simon was Senior Associate Partner with Pilbrow & Partners responsible for the delivery of UCLH Phase 5 - University College London Hospital’s new ear nose and throat specialist clinical facility in Bloomsbury, completed 2019. Simon worked on commercial projects EDGE St Thomas (London Bridge), C2 Wood Wharf (Canary Wharf); residential projects Centre House (White City), The Waterside (Greenwich Peninsula); and creative projects Tileyard Music Studios (Kinds Cross), Grade II* EMD Cinema (Walthamstow).
Simon was Director at RHWL Arts Team. Simon gained over 15 years of experience working on theatre, education, cultural & commercial projects in the UK. Simon was responsible for the new education building at Milton Court for the Guildhall School completed in 2013. Previous experience at Aedas includes the refurbishment of English National Opera responsible for restoring the Grade II*, 2350-seat auditorium at the London Coliseum on St. Martins Lane.
Currently he is leading the construction delivery of Oval Village for Berkeley Homes in Kennington.
