Experience

Susanne is Design Management Team Lead at Formation Architects, assisting the project teams with the management of the design process from its earliest stages to completion. She is passionate about design quality and about delivering projects efficiently, using best practice design management tools and techniques.



Susanne is a chartered architect and certified project manager with more than fifteen years of experience in designing, managing and coordinating large scale construction projects. Having worked for architectural practices both small and large, she has acquired a unique skill set that blends the design and management aspects of the architectural process.



Prior to joining Formation Architects, she spent eight years working as an Associate at Foster + Partners, supporting the planning and delivery of projects on time, within budget and to the highest quality. Amongst her key projects are large masterplans, state-of-the-art company headquarters and high-rise landmark developments. Before moving to the UK, Susanne worked as an architect at renowned practices such as Ian Moore Architects in Noosa, Australia and Matteo Thun & Partners in Milan, Italy on luxury residential, hospitality and mixed-use development projects.



Susanne graduated in architecture from the Bauhaus University Weimar, Germany. She is a chartered architect with ARB and RIBA and with ByAK in Germany, a full member (MAPM) of the Association for Project Management (APM) and a certified project management professional (PMP) with PMI (Project Management Institute).
