The tight infill site - which was previously occupied by an MOT garage - sits within a largely residential neighbourhood. The scheme is designed to be both sensitive and referential to its residential surroundings, in both form and materiality. The gabled fronts of the homes reflects the Victorian terraces of the context, and the warm brick tones pay homage to the rich heritage of London stock brick.

The project was submitted for planning in the summer of 2019.

Great care was given to ensure privacy to the surrounding houses and gardens, as well as to the new-built mews house. Each home exceeds requirements for private amenity, and additional communal amenity is provided as a garden at the centre of the scheme.
