Formation Architects were appointed by Lady Ballyedmond to obtain Planning Permission and Listed Building Consent to refurbish the house and make significant alterations. This includes the excavation of a large basement to accommodate a gymnasium and pool.

Belgrave Square is the epicentre of Belgravia and is undoubtedly one of the finest squares in London. No.9 is a Grade I Listed townhouse originally built circa.1825 and extends over five floors including a courtyard and a two-storey mews house to the rear.

Internal modifications and improvements to the rest of the house were also made requiring the intensive coordination of structure, MEP and acoustics as well as specialist conservation techniques.
