The new high-quality development has a mix of 1, 2 and 3 bedroom homes with the majority being dual aspect. The scheme includes a 332 sqm commercial unit at ground floor level with a flexible layout plus a car park, cycle store and refuse store. The building stands at 7 storeys on the corner of the site ensuring prominence and steps down towards the existing neighbouring properties which are 2 storeys in height.

The design includes communal roof terraces in three locations. All terraces include a grass lawn area and planting which creates a natural buffer ensuring privacy for residents and neighbours. Boulders, stepping logs and other play equipment are included as children’s play space.

Formation Architects has achieved full planning consent for the scheme.

Our sustainable design approach includes improved insulation and air tightness standards, and the use of renewable energy systems with potential for PV panels to be located on the roof. Other design features include; obscure glass windows and oriel windows, used to mitigate overlooking to neighbouring properties and to ensure privacy to residents that live near the site.
