Lewisham

Formation Architects were appointed to prepare a planning application for a 127-key hotel on a prominent corner site along Lewisham High Street.

The building bookends a stretch of mixed-use buildings and marks the southern entrance of the town centre. The building also comprises two commercial units at ground level, which contribute to the activation of the street frontage.

Planning has been successfully achieved.

We were tasked with rationalising the floor plan to improve the customer journey, as well as the 6 storey mass and density of the scheme, to ensure the building fits in more sensitively into its surroundings, both in height and materiality.
