Due to market conditions, not to mention the pressures of sustainability, we have seen a great deal of office refurbishment work in recent years. This ranges from a light-touch ‘refresh’ all the way to a complete ‘refit’ – stripping a building back to its frame and adding new interiors, services and facades.
Working on any existing buildings presents special challenges, none more so than a refurbished office. The importance of accurate investigation and sufficient allowance for construction tolerances cannot be over-emphasised.
