With some HAs we have been on their Architects’ Framework for many years and have designed and delivered major projects from inception to completion. With others we have worked with through a developer on the delivery of the affordable housing component of a private scheme, implementing the HA’s specification requirements. In a few cases, schemes we have designed to planning have been sold to an HA and Formation Architects have been retained to continue working on the project.
Many housing associations are also active in the private market both in shared ownership and private market sale. Due to our understanding of the private market, we have on occasion been asked by HAs to design schemes of this kind.
